Green Bean Casserole Recipe

THANKSGIVING-CHEAPSIDES
Green bean casserole is one of my favorite side dishes during the holiday season. It is so simple to make and so delicious! Here is the recipe we use at home:

  • 4 cups of cooked green beans
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 1/2 cups of french fried onions
  • black pepper to taste
Directions: Mix the soup, milk, beans, pepper and 1/2 a cup of the french fried onions together in a casserole dish. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Take out and stir the mixture adding the remaining french fried onions on top. Bake for another 5 minutes!
